Edward Truant, CA, CBV

Edward Truant has worked with Imperial Capital since 1997 and co-led the acquisitions of Procaps and Lise Watier Cosmetiques Inc. Mr.Truant also played a key role in the acquisition of Pacific Coast Publishing Inc., an independent yellow pages publisher, where he became the CFO of parent company YPTel, which was established to facilitate the acquisition.

From 1995 to 1997, Mr. Truant provided corporate finance services with a Toronto-based, mid-market advisory services firm. Previously, Mr. Truant was an audit and a tax specialist with Coopers & Lybrand, an international public accounting firm, where he had articled while obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation in 1993. Mr. Truant obtained a BCom from the University of Toronto in 1991. In 1997, he obtained his Chartered Business Valuator designation.

Mr. Truant is a Director of Procaps and Lise Watier Cosmetiques Inc.

He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario, the Canadian Institute of Chartered Business Valuators and The Yorkville Club.
