Justin MacCormack, MBA, CFA

Mr. MacCormack joined Imperial Capital in September, 2007 as a principal. From June 2004 to August 2007, he served as a director with Onex Corporation, where he worked closely with the Cosmetic Essence senior management team on long-term strategic planning and the assessment of acquisition candidates. He was also actively involved in evaluating and conducting due diligence for Onex investments in Compagnie Générale de Géophysique, Emergency Medical Services and Skilled Healthcare.

From 2000 to 2003, Mr. MacCormack was with McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager and Associate in the Toronto office. He also worked as a derivatives trader with Trafalgar Securities, a hedge fund based in Bermuda. His areas of expertise include working with management teams, identifying value creation opportunities and ensuring appropriate due diligence.

Mr. MacCormack obtained his BSc in Environmental Engineering from the University of Guelph in 1995 and his MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario, in 2000. He received his Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 1998.
