At Imperial Capital, a key part of our focus is on family and entrepreneurially owned businesses. As you can see from our Portfolio, we have had an excellent track record of partnering with the shareholders of family and entrepreneurially owned businesses because we understand the dynamics of these enterprises, and what it takes to help such companies get to the next level. Typically, we have structured our transactions to ensure the shareholders of these enterprises maintain a meaningful stake in the equity of the company and, in certain cases, a meaningful role in the operations of the business. Many of those Business Owners have become investors in our funds.
