Imperial Capital is pleased to announce that Josh Kochen has been promoted to Partner. Josh joined Imperial in August 2017 as a Senior Associate. Through his time at Imperial, Josh has been a driving force behind Go Carwash and Fortis. He also found time to moonlight as a recruiter and was involved in hiring several of our deal team members.
We are also pleased to announce the promotion of Martin DeZell to the role of Principal, Value Creation. Martin has been a part of Imperial Capital since December 2022 and will now assume leadership of the Value Creation group.
Congratulations also to Nicholas Moritsugu, who has been promoted to Principal. Nick joined us in April 2022 as Vice President and has been a key contributor on Birch and is currently working on a potential investment.
Chris Byers has been promoted to Vice President. Chris joined Imperial in March of 2023 as a Senior Associate and has been working diligently on Frontier and is leading our exploration of a potential new industry for investment.
Mitchell Busch and Ryan Cheung are both being promoted to Senior Associate. Mitch joined us in October 2022 and has been busy with Birch and Frontier. Ryan joined in January 2023 and has spent his time with Matrix and Certus.
Also promoted are Elena Ban to Vice President, Financial Reporting; Taylor Capson to Manager, Corpporate Accounting; Kristen Blyleven to Manager, Investor Relation; Tara Cunningham to Associate, Investor Relations and Melanie Kennedy to Executive Assistant & Events Coordinator.
